PART 145 HELICOPTER QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Associated Aircraft Group, Inc. is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager that will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements and that all maintenance work is performed to excellent standards.  This position reports to the Part 145 Maintenance Manager.

Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Aircraft 

  • Monitor routine maintenance actions to ensure quality performance and airworthiness of all aircraft.

  • Observe maintenance and assure that maintenance directives are followed.

  • Perform hands-on testing as needed.

  • Responsible for accurate documentation of aircraft and engine data on appropriate forms as outlined in the Operation Manual. 

  • Ascertain that all test equipment and special measuring devices are calibrated with in established time limits.

Administrative Duties

  • Create and revise quality work inspections, procedures and forms. 

  • Ensure compliance with FAR's, AD's, Service Bulletins, Part 145 Manual and company policy. 

  • Encourage and support process improvements. 

  • Ensure adherence to defined repeatable processes and conduct reviews to ensure that work orders conform to FAA standards. 

  • Coordinate internal and external work order communication, manage corrective actions and interface with the FAA on issues related to quality. 

  • Serve as an advocate for Quality Assurance issues. 

  • Prepares and forwards all customer related work order information to the Accounting department upon completion of the Work Order.

Environmental Health and Safety 

  • Ensure safety and that company policies and procedures are followed 

  • Observe Sikorsky and AAG EH&S programs. 

  • Maintain manuals with Material Safety Data Sheets. 

  • Enforce the wearing of safety glasses and proper clothing. 

  • Report environmental and safety problems to management. 

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years experience working with and overseeing S76 helicopter maintenance

  • Current Airframe & Powerplant license

  • IA Certified

  • Demonstrated success in management positions

  • Punctuality, accuracy and highly organized work habits

  • High personal ethical standards

  • Excellent customer service skills



MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS

Associated Aircraft Group, Inc. is looking to recruit several qualified candidates for our New York based Part 145 Repair Station. We are seeking motivated and experienced Maintenance Technicians who are committed to providing high quality customer service. 

Duties include performing regularly scheduled and unscheduled line and heavy maintenance, and testing and calibration of aircraft components. Candidates shall be self-starters with good work ethics and work well with others. Must have own tools and be flexible to work all shifts. Punctuality, accuracy and highly organized work habits is a must.

Qualifications

  • Must have current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License

  • 3-5 years helicopter experience

  • Experience with S-76 helicopters in a Part 135 executive operation is preferred


S76 PILOTS

Associated Aircraft Group, Inc. is looking for experienced helicopter pilots to fly our Sikorsky S76 fleet. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule to include overnights, nights, weekends and holidays in support of the Company's goals. Must be available for on-call duty within 1.5 hours of Dutchess County Airport (POU). While performing flight duties, ensures that all operations are conducted in compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations and department policy. Serve as a member of a flight crew accomplishing the safe and orderly completion of assigned flights. Perform pre flight, post flight and in-flight crewmember related duties. Must also be willing to perform non-flight related duties to include but are not limited to updating of A/C flight manuals/publications, navigation charts, participation in various Safety/Operational related projects as assigned by the Chief Pilot.

Qualifications for Captains

As Pilot-in-Command you have the final authority in the operations of the aircraft. Helicopter ATP, minimum of 3,000 hours total time in helicopters; 2,000 Pilot-in-Command in helicopters; 1,000 turbine, 500 hours S-76. Must possess and maintain a current FAA First Class Medical certificate and FCC permit. NY Metro area flying experience is desirable. Five years Aviation related experience with a minimum of two years in an on-demand flight environment. Individual must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.

Qualifications for First Officers

FAA Commercial/Instrument pilots license with appropriate category, class and type ratings. Must possess and maintain a current FAA First class medical certificate and FCC permit, minimum of 1,500 hours total time in helicopters; 850 Pilot-in-Command in helicopters; 500 turbine, (turbine twin, preferably S-76). NY Metro area flying experience is desirable. Five years Aviation related experience with a minimum of two years in an on-demand flight environment. Individual must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.
